Empower Kids for Sustainable Future:

Special initiatives are designed and provided to increase literacy rates in underdeveloped countries like Pakistan. The provision of free books with zero school fees is among them. However, after COVID-19, the abnormal increase in inflation seriously hit the price of stationery items, particularly notebooks, due to the manyfold increase in quality paper prices, making it even more difficult for the underprivileged to get an education even with the government's initiative. Recently, the KPK-Pakistan provincial government announced the withdrawal of the free books provision initiative. Keeping in view the fact that for primary classes, Grades 1–5, the cost of stationary forms the major financial burden of the schooling cost, at the same time, for this level, various stationary provides the essential tool for a good and desirable learning item to ensure the formation of a solid base for the student. Keeping in view the sensitivity of the situation and its negative bearing on education, the FeedHungryNow Foundation launched its initiative "Empower Kids for a Sustainable Future". Under this initiative, a specifically designed stationary pack comprising a stationary kit and copies will be provided in a school bag. This pack will be distributed free of charge in the schools located in the towns and slums where most of the population lives below the poverty line. These schools will mostly be picked from the data collected during our recent Ramadan Ration Bag Distribution Initiative in the villages located in southern Punjab, Pakistan. The provision of two sets of uniforms for Summer and Winter will form the second phase of the project. Join and support us in the initiative overwhelmingly, as giving a good education to an individual provides long-term sustenance to him, his family, and all those connected with him.
